Personally... I don't, really. I feel that if it was they would've already shown it. Most of the Kid Icarus on Wii-rumors and all that started as a result of Pit being a playable character in Brawl, now it's gone 3 years since we saw the first trailer for Brawl(Where Pit was first unveiled), and more than 1 year since the game's actual release, and we've seen/heard nothing official at all... I think it may have been in the planning stages at one point, but never really got further than that.

What do you guys think?

I think Matt from IGN wasn't lying when he said he knew about a Factor 5 made KI was in development.

However I feel that it's long been canceled and I don't really see any other internal Nintendo teams taking up that IP.. So no I don't believe it's in development at this time.

I wish it was, but no. Nintendo never do what the fans want, they do what makes business sense. That's not a criticism, but...

Or maybe they just don't think Kid Icarus belongs in 3D? Maybe fans would prefer something like Starfox and they only have limited resources? They're bringing back Punch-Out!! because it makes much more sense on Wii.. I wouldn't blame it on them not doing what the fans want..

I think it was at one point, there's a little bit too much evidence from multiple sites. I'm not sure if it's still being made, though...

nope, i beleiev one of factos 5's titles is pilotwings and will release this winter. their 3rd person shooter i see as being a 2010, possible 2011 title.no kid icarus

Yeah, you can be sure someone (likely Factor 5) was working on it at some point. But after that whole studio kinda probably shutting down thing, it might well have been cancelled.

I personally think it's still is in development and will be shown at E3 (that or Pilotwings). Either way, if we don't hear about it at E3, then it would be cancelled for sure.

I doubt it. If there was, it would have likely been announced by now.

Matt from IGN always is off of his mind at times, so I would never fully trust that source, but if nothin is showning at E3 this year I highly doubt it will be shown at all this gen. Also even if it is most likely they will mix casual stuff in it.
