Do you think 'Hell fire' exists? Do you think a bad person e.g. murderer or rapist will face hell fire as punishment?

I think about this from time to time, whenever a person dies I always wonder what happened to them in the next life.

So do you think Hell Fire exists? personally speaking I am afraid of the Hell Fire it must be so hot that I cant even imagine it.

Thanks mm2

well heres the thing Im catholic, yet I dont believe in hell, I was brought up to believe that God is all loving and forgiving so no I dont think hell or hell fire exists.

Where do you think that Big Mac you just ate came from?

Jews don't believe in hell. Hell is a Christian thing.

In the time of the Jews, there was a location where they collected the cities trash. This trash dump would be burned, and would burn 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is thought that if you were someone who died that did terrible things in life, that your body was taken to this dump and thrown in, for it to burn for all of eternity. At the time, no one ever thought the place would stop burning.

So, there are scholars who feel the christian version of hell comes from this place, that hell as it's defined in the bible is just a misrepresentation of an earthly location.

As an Atheist, I definitely don't think Hell exists.

Hilarious :D

I personally don't think "Hell Fire" exists.  I think hell would be simply "without God/Heaven" so if you have committed terrible atrocities in life then perhaps you simply don't get to experience Heaven and maybe roam the earth pushing over cows and blowing up skirts from the unsuspecting lass :D

I don't know if hellfire exists but I hope not.

I don't think a balanced God would put people in one of two states, hell fire or infinite bliss. I think a balanced God would punish and reward equally.

If there is one...i'm pretty sure Michael Jackson we be throwing kids parties there...;)

Playing: Borderlands(great co-op,HUGE amount of content),Too Human(better late than never lol),Saints Row 3(Penetrator ftw),Minecraft 360,Harry Potter Lego.

Patiently waiting for:  Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2

No, definitely not.

It doesn't make sense to me, it would hardly be a proportional punishment. You are evil for 70 years so now you are going to burn for eternity. I"m not good at maths but i'm pretty sure that eternity is alot longer than 70 years. Humans are (supposedly) logical people and if we are created in the image of God we have to assume that he too is a logical being who should punish or reward us in proportion to our actions.

I don't believe in an afterlife so, no hellfire or heaven
