hmm I guess I am at a loss, I play mostly RPGs and there is always killing/murder in them (albeit of monsters but death is death right).

What about adventure games like day of the tentacle (not console I know), ok I got it .. Harvest moon. I apologize if someone has already mentioned it

Animal Crossing although others have mentioned it though.  Street Fighter or other fighters except Mortal Kombat type games with finishing moves? They don't die they just beat the shit out of each other.

Metal Gear Solid the only charicters that have died in this series have been those that Kojima wrote into the story. I have never killed a soldier or boss in any Metal Gear Solid games.

Flower is another great example. Very beautiful story, and no death.

I'm pretty sure Grim Fandango involves death in some way

Also, I heared you can die in the Secret of Monkey Island if you try holding your breath for more than 10 minutes
