The best RPG's this generation so far and for the forseeable future are on the Xbox 360.

Therefore given VGC's professed love of RPG's, you'd expect that the console would be anything BUT the least owned console on the website.

that seems like a bold statement.  The 360 has more RPG's that is definitely true, but best is probably debatable.

Right here. Quality is of the utmost opinion.

While shooters may be dominate this generation, rpgs are still our secret loves :o

Also RPG is an incredibly wide definition, from hack n slash all the way to crossover and turn based/adventure games...

Tease.

-Not all gamers may share your opinion on the 'best' RPG's.

-RPG's, despite being the favourite genre of a gamer, may not have been the sole factor in the decision of which console to choose.

-There could still be plenty of members/guests on this site who haven't made the jump into this gen yet.

-There are plenty of RPG's across the PS2/PS3/Wii/PC/PSP/DS.

-As far as I know, non-members can vote in vgchartz polls. Thus there could be a huge amount of RPG fan lurkers.

-Not all members on the site will have voted. (I didn't for instance.)

While MS has done a nice job "acquiring" rpgs this Gen, in the land where it sells most its consoles, the shooter is king.

Except your beloved Versus.

I thought u were going to comment on how on another favorite genre poll platformers were just a little behind first place, like 0.5%, leading us to all believe in the profusion of nintendo fans on the site.

Right now, from my perspective, It's a tie.
But if ToV releases on the PS3 in NA then it's definitely PS3.

I thought PS3 fans were the most abundant on this site?

There's still more Nintendo fans as far as I can tell, but there isn't a huge gap between the two like there once was.

Also there's been a influx of 360 fans recently, but they're still the minority here.

Man I am so pumped.

And this poll was taken after the announcement of FFXIII going multiplatform and no longer mattering to PS3 fans, so it's possible Versus alone brought about this result
