Not me. Now, after the Tales of Vesperia announcement was made...

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.
I think it said more about Sony/the signs of the time. That the times, they are a changin'.
The Xbox 360 brand became respected by a few more people I guess, or you could say the PS3 became less so? Im not sure which is more important.
Tease.
talk about over exaggerated.
In all honesty we really don't know, as the game isn't out yet to see what will happen.
It will be interesitng to see if the 360 crowd is mainly a FPS type, or if they have warmed up to other genres.
I think judgements about whether or not this is as big of a deal as some people think it is should be reserved for AFTER it comes out. If it looks and sounds noticeably worse on the 360 (it's being ported, not built from the ground up remember) and ships on 5-6 discs or more, then all it will do IMO is make the 360 look old and outdated up against a single disc, sharp as a tack PS3 version. I really question if the 360 crowd is the right crowd for this type of game as Cobretti2 suggested.
Keep this in mind when reading what I type...
I've been gaming longer than many of you have been alive.

The closest game in style to FFXIII released this generation is Lost Odyssey and that sold 800k worldwide which is twice that of the next closest PS3 JRPG game inspite of the overwhelming advantage in Japan. Really now?

I could easily be wrong. RPGs of any kind really aren't my thing except for the Zelda titles. I haven't played any other RPGs since FF7. I see what the 360 library primarily consists of and FF13 is very different. Maybe that's a good thing.

I can't remember when I started looking at the 360 in a different light but the differences between its library and that of the original Xbox are pretty huge. I mean did the original Xbox even have a JRPG? It has the definitive console version of GTA IV, a series in which the Xbox brand was always an afterthought. It has the Resident Evil series for the first time as well as Final Fantasy and many others. It really is pretty amazing just how far the brand has come. The fact that it is the lead console for a significant amount of games says a lot.
