No.

I bought a Wii because of the reasons I defend it with (not that I do it a lot. Just a few days ago someone told me to stop bashing the Wii). Not the other way around.

No, you bought a Wii so you could beat me in a bet and have MM476 whom you are very close to take control of my signature. ;_;

 And that's what I defend it with.

That's what I said.

If we like to defend our things, why does America have such a low self-esteem and constantly (both left and right) bad mouth it >.

We can bad mouth only specific parts of our country (and call them un-American), and blame the government all the time?

Thats because the people that bad mouth America are very un-american.  And should probably just move out of the country.  Now admitting that your country has some flaws..thats ok.

It all depends on the level of emotional attachment people put on their possessions.

For some, a gaming console that costs anywhere from $200-400 is the center of their entertainment universe, and for others, it's just a plastic box with electronic components that plays games and will likely be replaced/supplemented in no more than 4 years, most likely less.

I dunno, I bought an Ipod touch and although I like it I won't defend its weak points and admit the Zune is better.

Same with the phone company I'm with ..

so by your logic, if i buy atari jaguar right now, i must defend it?

well if someone asked why did you buy it (if your being serious) you would defend it by saying, cause its a classic it brings back memories, that in a sense is defending it .not that that is what you'd say its just an example

You've based that on the assumption that a person that buys it , wants it , which is logical assumption but one which contains an error , you don't neccaerily but something because you want it and even if you want it , it doesn't neccaserily mean you'll like it.

not true... i bought a wii and i don't defend it.

actually it made change my mind about nintendo and went to sony.

ps2 was as sweet nectar that lured me.

Some fanboys on this website make me want to hate owning certain consoles. I've been called all of them. PS3 fanboy, Xbot, Wiitard (actually not that one, that sacred territory for some reseason). Loving Sega is the only right thing to do.

I'll defend my purchase for ME, as long as the system i purchased was satisfying my needs. If it's not then why would i defend it?
