Well let me start off by saying that IMO he is already leader of the Hype Train for this excellent game!

I saw the success of Outlawron's Valkyria Chronicles thread and just thought it would be a great idea...

This is one of the most interesting games of the year (even for some people who don't own a PS3 like myself), but creating a thread now would be too early in my opinion. How about making one as soon as the release date is settled?

We're not super bureaucrats and don't need to make a thread asking if we should make another thread.

If you want an official Heavy Rain thread, make an official Heavy Rain thread.
If you want CGI to make one, ask him.

It's that simple.
