I think it will. I dont see why Sony would miss the holiday sales boom in December.
Prediction: Uncharted 2 will come out around late October or early November, and God of WarIII will come out late November/Early December.

Yeah but for some reason.... you get a lot people like the one above me, saying Feb or March 2010.

why even bother putting it out in 2009? so many games come out around christmas why not wait til march(side note all god of war games have come out in march).plus you get more time to work on the game.Dont get me wrong if god of war 3 come out this year i would be so happy but the ps3 don't need it this year.with games like uncharted 2,heavy rain,MW2 all coming out around christmas time i think its better to just wait.
Meh I still think it's going to release in end Feb '10 - same window as KZ2

Five days ago, Sony said that we'd be playing games like God of War III on the PlayStation 3 this year. This week, it seems to be backpedaling on that statement.
In a press release Tuesday announcing the new lineup of games for PSP, Sony had this to say about the future of PlayStation 3:
...groundbreaking exclusives such as Killzone 2, inFamous, MLB '09: The Show, MAG, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and God of War III to hit throughout the fiscal year.
Sony's fiscal year ends in March 2010, meaning that one or more of these releases could actually hit in the first few months of next year.
In contrast, here is what it said on Thursday:
[Killzone 2] ushers in an unprecedented year of titles to hit the PlayStation platform throughout the year including the blockbuster exclusives Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, inFamous, MAG, Heavy Rain, God of War III and MLB 09 The Show.
Since Killzone 2 falls inside the current fiscal year, the only logical reading of this sentence is that Sony is referring to the calendar year 2009 -- which is exactly how Wired.com and other outlets reported the news.
So what's the real story? We've contacted the Sony public relations rep listed on the releases to get clarification.
