With this in mind we are excited to confirm that legendary industry stalwart Capcom are planning to use the event to make “three huge announcements.” 

This information fell into our laps at Activate Asia 2007, which was held in Cairns earlier this week...

So Capcom fans have plenty to anticipate as next Wednesday, the 19th of September, approaches and they should keep their eyes fixated on our news section for that moment when we are given the green light.

 

Being a huge fan of a bunch of different Capcom series and games, I am really excited. Anyone have predictions?

 

I just hope Monter Hunter 3 is shown for the PS3 and/or a Dead Rising sequel.

^^ Okami 2 most probably will never happen. My guess Monster Hunter 3 (PS3), maybe Mega Man (Wii) or another Resident Evil for Wii or a new IP.

Here's hoping for a Wii specific Dead rising game set in a walk in clinic that specializes in respitory ailments. They'll call it Dead Wiising.

Hmm, three big announcements. I don't have a clue at what they could be. I would like them to be Street Fighter 4, Bionic Commando, and a new Strider but I am sure it won't be any of those three.

Replace SF4 with DR2 and I'm 100% behind you. Bionic Commando is one of my favorite games of all time and I must have dumped $100 into the Strider arcade game. I would love to see them bring both franchises back.

Did Capcom already announce the Okami remake for Wii? If not that is likely one of the announcements. Another might be Resident Evil 5 coming to the Wii as well as the PS3/360 (considering how well Resident Evil 4 is doing). A third could be Dead Rising 2 for PS3/360 or something for the DS.
