hating a console is fanatic. Many peoples are fanatic and are jealous of other peoples having fun with their console.

I don't hate the Wii. I just have a very strong disagreement with some of those that try to say a few of its games are among the best ever when most of those particular games (only talking about 3 or 4 of the Wii's games here) have very average review scores but are really only considered to be so special by Nintendo fans because they did have a great deal to do with the success of the Wii but those particular Wii fans want to act like their among the best games of all time which they aren't.  It's like they have to religiously have to praise those games.

If the Wii was only selling as well as the Gamecube, no one would be singing the praises of these games.

Because I don't like the games that much. I like Mario and such, but all the party games/shovelware could just go away.

i never said that u had to be proud of ur consoles name  but u should its just another reason y i and others hate it, i also included  lack of the simple function to play a 10yr old media, i could make a list a things that would make people hate it but ill keep it to myself

i just saw ur profile and age so i quess u wont have the same views as me but i can understand ur love for the Wii at ur age

People always support the underdog. At the start of the gen Wii was the underdog and there were new articles every single day praising it. Well 2 years plus later and Wii is far from the underdog. It's the big bully in town kicking the hell out of the little guys PS360. Well people don't like that.

Then there are those who fear that Wii will result in developers not making their HD FPS anymore.

     I'm talking about Wii Sports, Wii Play, Wii Fit, Wii Music, and Mario Kart Wii.  Those games have much lower Metacritic scores than most of the games that everybody else praises:  MGS4, No  More Heroes, GTA IV, Gears of War, Bioshock, Halo 3, Fallout 3.

the fact that it lacks a simple feature that both HDs can do makes people think its weak

i dont know wat the console to age ratio is for each console but i dont think the wii holds a good record for people in there 25-35 age range and as u get in that age range ur anger level and hate level towards things is greatly increased than wen ur in ur happy go lucky age of 10-20
