They may be increasing, but they are still 8 million consoles behind the 360 which expanded from last years 5 million lead around this time.

Yeah they are 8 Million behind but u can't say they can't catch up
ps2's sales went up the most the last 6 years it was out
ps3 could be the same
especially if there is a price cut

Sega destroyed the Dreamcast by not being prepared for the next generation. Sony changed the prime format to a DVD war so Sega was out of the race from piracy the second they got ready to run. The thing about Sony is they are far more powerful and use their systems to control the sales of formats. Their PS2 helped with the adaptation of DVD from VHS.

I'm having too much fun owning every console released so far. (Yes I had a 360 and Wii already. I will own them once again)

I have owned sony consoles, ps1, ps2 psp........... all 2nd hand of course.

And i love how you say "owned" don't you mean neglected?

I'm not a fanboy, wake up man, i love every gaming company except sony, a fanboy tends to support one console/company

I never said Sony couldn't catch up. What I did say was that if Sony doesn't drop price (Which will hurt them anyway) the gap will widen to 10 million by 3rd quarter. Microsoft always takes over by the end of 3rd quarter leading into the holiday season.
