Can it catch up to Wii? Highly doubt it but its still possible to catch up to 360

Last year the ps2 won, all those people who bought the ps2 probably want the ps3 but can't afford it

Therefore, if the ps3 was cheaper then it would have sold more than 360

Face the facts and get out of denial and bein pissy that MS lost last gen

I'm going to laugh when you have to eat crow on this one. PS3 definitely has a chance at 2nd still. Though at least I'm willing to be more open that the chance is higher that 3rd is where they will end up.

Mind if I quote this in my sig?

I hope you are speaking generally, because I won't call MS evil. I have a 360.

 

Microsoft already thrashed Sony mercilessly, and I enjoyed it. Sony's arrogant reign over the VG market went on for too long, and their cockiness in a position of power was ripped from their grasp and their portfolio was shredded. The 360 proved the PS brand was human, and now Sony is desperate for any sense of headway in this generation, that includes preserving the Wii/DS is for kids stereotype and Ultra-hype of normal exclusives  (Killzone 2).  Sony is gasping for air with its panties down.

wow fanboyism... the ps3 has a very strong chance to outsell the wii its not a matter of if it can its a matter of when the hell will it. however im starting to think this gen will be like

360 - 50million at best
ps3 - 51million at best
wii - to infinity and beyond

And? The longer they wait to drop the price the wider the gap will be. If Microsoft gets 10 million gap on Sony, this gen is over for Sony.

Microsoft was smart in not making gamers multiplatform choices identical to the PS3 so that the 360 would be the more appealing choice. Yes, smart marketing indeed.

Yeah, mostly because Sony had all the third party titles (Which they most likely will never have again) and because the Xbox came out a year later than the PS2 (kinda like this gen, but in reverse).

You're acting like the PS3 is in as much demand as the Wii. There is a build up of demand for the PS3, but the 360 is slowly taking away that demand.

No one is being pissy that Microsoft came in second last gen. They deserved to lose. This gen, they deserve second. You need to get it straight that the 360 is not the orignal Xbox.

I have a 360 myself, but I still believe Microsoft as a company is evil. I detatch myself from comapnies, so it keeps to sale of me buying their systems proper and business as usual. It also causes me to neutral and judge companies fairly. As far as Greenberg is concerned, the fight hasn't even started yet. Microsoft is just riding out 2009. They haven't thrashed Sony very much. You cannot let Microsoft see blood.

Sega got to where they are on the back of 1st party games.

How anybody can blow sony's trumpet is beyond me.
