Honestly think Ps2 beat Xbox last gen Yeah, mostly because Sony had all the third party titles (Which they most likely will never have again) and because the Xbox came out a year later than the PS2 (kinda like this gen, but in reverse). If the price was lower, All those people who bought a ps2 is gonna buy a ps3 Probably, but it didn't happen. the reson they havent yet is because price is too high You're acting like the PS3 is in as much demand as the Wii. There is a build up of demand for the PS3, but the 360 is slowly taking away that demand. Can it catch up to Wii? Highly doubt it but its still possible to catch up to 360 True, if Sony starts thinking smart. Most people buy a console every gen Last year the ps2 won, all those people who bought the ps2 probably want the ps3 but can't afford it Alot of people thought that, but the 360 is winning over alot of people just as well as the PS3 was thought to.
