 thanks, I think people fail to realize its indirect competition because most people who bought a Wii will eventually buy a PS3 or 360 for the traditional gaming. Its the same with MTV and Radio. 

3rd Parties aren't really taking the Wii seriously meaning they will continue releasing worse games then what they released on the PS2.

All profits off the games that cost them a pathetic amount to make and publish go to makiing games for the PS3 and 360. Will 3rd parties actually make decent/good games? Yea they will, even total crap games that get sequels get a nice shining making it shiny crap.

And I agree with you, unfortunately the Wii will become the craper of 3rd parties like the PSOne and PS2, but that won't block great games to appear.

I like what you said, never really thought of it that way. I For the most p[art you are right, i bought a Wii to see the new gaming experiences i will be getting this gen, but i will also be picling a PS£ or 360 later when the prices come down because i still like traditional/clasical gaming method.

Nice write up and some good thoughts in there, though I still don't agree about the Wii not being a next-gen machine (whatever that may be) and being a second gen creative device (not saying you're wrong, just talking opinions).

before you explained your "Wii is second in its gen" thing i thought you were refering to the virtual boy.
anyway yes, that was good, and some good points made, though i personally won't be buying any other consoles this gen [can't afford] and i imagine like last gen most people will just buy 1, but i reckon it could move someway to ehat you say... ie it will still be mostly 1 console each, but the %age will be lessened by more people wanting both experiences.
