Plasma newer plasmas are better because burn in is not really a problem anymore, deeper blacks, and cheaper prices.

i think taht lcd has a better resolutions and sound.

A couple years ago there was a big difference, plasmas were very superior to LCDs. But today even the cheaper LCD 40 inch TVs look good. Plasmas still have slightly better picture quality though.

But I would choose an LCD today, just not buy the cheapest one, not one from the cheapest tier, but the 2nd price bracket (40% higher price) and they're great.

Still Contrast is the problem of LCD, today everything is dynamic contrast. But this is Bullshit, try the first ALIEN movie on LCD and PLASMA and you will see the difference.

Yes, because people never put a modern Plasma side by side to an LCD. Even the Shops never do this, because margins are higher on LCD, they prefer to sell LCD over PLASMA.
