Oh boy oh boy oh boy.

I think Fire Emblem works better on handhelds than it does on consoles, but I wouldn't balk at a Wii game.

...Also what does Paper Mario have to do with Fire Emblem? They aren't even the same genre. Are they developed by the same team?

I'm not sure if it's the same team, but they come out of the same studio (Intelligent Systems).

Good news but I would rather see Intelligent systems and Monolith team up and create a new RPG franchise just for Nintendo.

Isn't Monolith already deep in development of a whole new RPG IP for Wii?

Hope it's true! I havn't finished Path of Radiance yet (lent it to a friend and still hasn't returned it. Grrr...) but I'd certainly be up for more FE!

OT: I'm expecting DS for this. Sure, could be Wii, and I wouldn't be disappointed, but I think budgetwise and profitwise DS makes more sense for Nintendo right now. Anyone know when the next Nintendo Dream comes?

wat? The guys who make over a billion a quarter would have problems like this?

They need a new FE for Wii to raise sales and have more core games for Wii...

I hope it'd have better online than FE: SD for DS.

FE seems to have a very dedicated fanbase considering the sales in the series are so close to eachother. I severely doubt a FE for either Wii or DS would move any hardware at all. Also, just because Nintendo make lots of money doesn't mean they should be wasteful. Not saying FE for a Wii would be a waste - Not at all. However, I do think they'd spend less and make more with one for the DS, so businesswise it makes more sense, even if it's not a necessity for their company to survive or make profits.
