Its a very Good Read. Video included on right side of page.

Basically, would you want the clerk or some other employee check to make sure you have good grades before you can buy games? I sure as hell wouldn't, but it makes sense to parents and some other people who agree that its a good thing to do. I'm 18, so I just finished worrying about the clerk asking for a ID whenever i rent GTA or God of War. I dont want to deal with another barrier to play the games I love.

The only good thing coming out of this is that the gamestop manager of that store promised to buy any game for any kid with all A's, and a parents signature. Kinda nifty, cept that i haven't gotten all A's since kindergarden.

Damn, I wish I was still a kid.

thank goodness i get straight AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

People with bad grades don't need to be buying many video games in the first place. This is a wonderful idea.

I mean, it's not as if high school is very hard, and ultimately this is for their own good.

Was that sarcasm?   The lack of grammar and punction leads me to hope so.

I'd be Ok with a mom and pop shop doing this but not a chain.  Still I prefer it being up to the parents to do this.  I wouldn't purchase a game for my 10 year old if he came home with bad grades anyway.  No point in letting a clerk decide that.

Free game for all A's is a pretty good incentive for a kid.  He'll go broke if their are a lot of smart kids nearby though.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

nice incentive. for instance, i don't understand why it is that in america, video game sales actually went up this month, as schools start.

the Wii is an epidemic.

wish there's one like that near my house... Free game... =/

Dang...I got straight As all through elementary school...and my school was tough...where was this service then??

But high school...yeah...I had a wide variety of grades hehe. Mostly As, quite a few Bs, occasional Cs, and a couple Ds, but then again I took a lot of hard classes...Honors every year and AP classes my Junior and Senior year.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
