Thats the pity with the "Others " data .....its impossible to check them .
And when data comes ,as the 194 000 PS3 sold back in July in Spain ,ioi doesnt include it so there you go ....
Currently a 60gb PS3 is €609 in Ireland. It's a bundle that includes 2 games and a second SIXAXIS controller.
€609 = $845 (roughly)

Lol at this. For one, Others are not impossible to track. That's one of the most ignorant statements I belive you have made so far. There are reports of data from different agencies. Even if there weren't, North America and Japan are VERY well tracked. That leaves only "others" in the equation. Sony's own "sales" estimates, provided about 2 months ago, were within a tiny margin of error of this site's numbers -- maybe 1% on a worldwide basis. But hey, all that data is just made up and your data is accurate. FJ called it alright... Someone find the link that compares sony's released sales figures and compare it to VGC for mr. fanboy here to digest.
And I think I'll trust the "numbers" rather than your stops to a few stores in your area...

Ahh yah this is really good data here. There has got to be a way to track stores and their section sizes and how old the boxes are. If the boxes are moldy all the better.

Yeah that doesn´t help the 360 at all, you can still get thise games but they can´t be advertised or displayed, another reason the modding scene is pretty big here. As Rol sayed if we wan´t those games we can get them, still there is less public awareness for the 360. What I think got lots of peoples attention around here was the price drop combined with bundled games and some very good Bioshock adds.

Don't want to break up the party, but looking at European sales it's still looks like the same Nintendomination that's been going on all year. The DS is the real story in the market selling at levels over 160k over the past few weeks, significantly better than its sales in the US and Japan as of late. The Wii is still outselling the 360 by better than 2 to 1.
Yeah the 360 has been selling better with the price cut, but nothing has change that dramatically. Microsoft still has an image issue as far as video games go on that contenent. The only way you can praise 360 sales is to compare it to the PS3 which everyone knows desperately needs a price cut there.

Probably something to do with how weak the USD is vs. the EUR, and Microsoft being a US company vs. Sony and Nintendo being from JP.
