R&C future TOD use it very well. As have other games I have played. Just because most games don't have it. Doesn't mean the system doesn't have it.

I thought it was a blast in Heavenly Sword using it to control missiles!  It was a bit frustrating at first, but once I got the hang of it.  Especially while playing Kai!

i thought that was sooo dumb.  it would make sense doing something like that to a missile you can control, like in perfect dark.

but controlling an arrow is super dumb imo

@naiyo: No it's not the controller, sorry to tell you.. It's the games.

People don't wanna pick up a white TV remote with a big A button and some random cross just because they can shake it and point at menus.. They wanna pick up the controller because the games that they play with it are fun.

Another example that kills your 'Wii Remote is the reason!' idea is Wii Fit.

Now OT.. This is just marketing talk.. Sony's E3 will probably half be about the games we all know about and the other half will be Eyetoy, EyePet, Buzz and SingStar type games.

The motion controls (most wii games) and edutainment titles (Wii fit) appeal to kids and adults and is simple and fun and these experiences are only on the Wii, that is why the Wii sells.

The Wii is a great console, it is just that almost every developer out there is focused on the HD consoles, and when they do make a game for the Wii it's a wiik attempt, LOL, and then the game doesn't sell well and they don't make anymore games for it, leaving the line-up of games wii see today, LOL, hopefully the Wii will get some really good Action games, if that happens I will buy one.

Steroids, testosterone, and a cocktail of other performance-enhancing drugs...

You know, as a metaphor it's actually surprisingly apt.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

Be the ultimate ninja! Play Billy Vs. SNAKEMAN today! Poisson Village welcomes new players.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

I count 16 buttons on a PS3 controller not including the PS button thats never used in games. And its the same for the 360. I don't see where you got 18 from. So I will just ignore anything you say from now on. you cant count. :]

Actually, we were both wrong. It's 17 buttons. Stop being retarded.

4 diamond set command buttons set buttons (Triangle, Square, X and Circle)

4 Top buttons (L1, L2, R1 & R2)

4 Directional buttons

2 X, Y Axis joysticks (L3& R3)

1 Start button

1 Select button

1 PS button

By your logic, if you believe that my statement is stupid, then yours is equally as stupid, because you miscounted as well.
