I only have a Wii, DS, and PS2. These are the games I was looking at:

MLB '09 The Show (PS2)

NPC! Mario Power Tennis (Wii)

NPC! Pikmin (Wii)

Sonic And The Black Night (Wii)

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (DS)

Dragon Quest V: Hand Of The Heavenly Bride (DS)

Suikoden Tierkreis (DS)

I know practically nothing about Pikmin, Sonic, DQV, and Suikoden, so any advice on whether these are good games or not is much appreciated (I don't really care if Sonic isn't how it used to be, I want to know if its a solid fun gaming exp, or pure garbage).

Try the phoenix wright games for the ds. It might look dumb but its one of  the best game/series this gen.

Anyway, NPC Pikmin is an extremely good game. It's kind of an RTS, but not really. you control a character and direct up to 100 pikmin at once, fighting monsters, breeding new Pikmin and collecting Space Ship parts. The controls are excellent and the visuals beatiful. You owe it to yourself to get this game

Suikoden Tierkeis/GTA: CW/MLB are the ones I'd go for.

Oh, rightio. $45 seems pretty decent then.

My recommendation would be Dragon Quest. it's not for everyone though (as certain unnamed members of this site have stated over and over and over...), so maybe you should watch this short review to see if you would enjoy it.

Haven't played it myself, but I've been hearing good stuff on it on the web. If the games on the PS2 are any indication, it should be good. I'd like to get it, but I'm broke, hehe.
