i looking to buy a new game system but not sure want i wont to buy yet. any suggestions. its between a                       "xbox 360" "ps3" and a "wii"

since you have nothing listed at all for game interests, I'm going to have to say Wii.

i mostly play shooting games and and racing games. and my buget is like up to like $300.

shooters and racers?

Shooters: PS3 has Killzone 2, Call of Duty and Resistance, 360 has Gears of War, Halo and Call of Duty, Wii has Red Steel and Madworld

Racers: PS3 and 360 have Burnout and Dirt and Grid, PS3 has Gran Turismo and 360 has Forza, Wii has Mario Kart

thoose are the things to consider game wise, theyre are probably more too

remember, if you want online, 360 is best but its payed, PS3 is catching up slowly and is free, Wii is free aswell

PS3 has blu ray and 360 has hd downloads, wii has no dvd player

you should consider all of the above imo

based on budget and favorite genre's I'd say a X360. You got Halo, CoD and plenty of other shooters. Forza, Burnout and plenty of other racers.

You also can buy the arcade (or whatever it is called) for $200.

EDIT: after more thought, my second choice for you would be Wii, but that is only because of the cost of Live. I don't suggest the PS3 because of your $300 budget, but if you can find a used one that would be good too. I know my post has been useless.

I would recommend a 360. great library as Nordlead said get the arcade and a bunch of games or a ps2.
