Forums - Sony - Microsoft Selling More But Sony Higher Quality

Yeah Sony drawback is only price. If they reduce price i definately think MS cannot catch them...

Sony can't even catch the 360 when the bigs games like Killzone 2 hit so can't see how a minor price cut (if it ever happens) will affect the 360/ps3 sales much as the 360 will also be reduced in price,

The PS3 won't catch the 360 constantly let alone out sell it constantly, wishful thinking sony fans,

I never play my PS3 and ALWAYS play my 360 everyday without fail, I know which I prefer lol

just the price thats it

Ah yes, Microsoft, sitting in their crystal castle high atop Mount Profit, quaking in fear over Sony, bleeding and stumbling up the mountain.

For all we know, he's your alt. I've never seen you both online at the same time...

yeah really, PS3's first big advertised game being resistance, that didn't feel like they were trying to go into Xbox territory at all... we all remember the great FPS times of the PS1 and PS2....

MS had the genius of making sony do a 360 clone.... an improved clone yes, but still a clone. Customers now get to choose between the cheap and the expensive clone to play mostly the same games...whether you like it or not the stategy worked pretty damn well and MS would have stollen the crown if it were not for Nint's own stategy.

I never read any posts on this site talking about how Microsoft obtained its lead through price cuts and rushing asystem through development so that it was out a year early.... how instead of making a unique system they copy about 90 percent of what Sony already did and not only that but also targeted Sony user base... One thing I love and respect about Nintendo is that they have always done things there way. Never copied another system they have always stayed 100 percent devoted to games and gamers. Sony wanted a wider base for example they wanted to be a massive media console watch movies play games etc.... and thats cool but before Microsoft made there own identy... like a unique gaming console they instead copy everything that Sony has already done

Except for X-box live and even that was based loosely on what Sega had going on with there Dreamcast. Not only that but all the content on the market that they purchase... locking PS3 owners out of DLC content and demos for games like GTA  Because they want something they can't obtain on there own by SKILL they toss loads of money at developers to do there best to lock Sony out.. Microsoft in my opnion is Terrified of Sony otherwise they wouldn't be trying so hard to put them under

Sony on the other hand sits back and instead trying to buy up exclusive content they actually make games that seem to out perform 360 in every single way conceivable.... except sales... Quality dosent always mean Quanity and Sony only draw back is the price. Anyway's my personal thoughts if Sony drops its price $50 or better yet $100 Microsoft will never see there console toping Sony EVER! again in America or anywhere else for that matter

You're right... Sony has never copied an Xbox feature, it's always been the other way around.  M$ was so wrong to steal the idea of putting a hard drive in a console as a standard feature.  And having networking capability on every unit?  Sony was spot on with that too.  And then there's the default online experience for remote gaming on a console.

Yep... M$ is just a bunch of copycats.

This is the funniest, yet true, post I've read in awhile.  Thanks for the laugh.
