I voted against Jump Stars solely because it hasn't come to America and I'm bitter. =p

As somebody who plays A LOT of fighting games competitively, some of the big name ones are just bad, so getting them down fast now is better, because a scrubby game no1 has heard of isn't going to beat a big name in the end.

There are several great fighting games that aren't mainstream but are better (IMO) than most "mainstream" fighting games.

 Yeah.  I think this thread could be improved if the nominees were left to the major franchises.  I mean who on this forum has ever played "New Japan Pro Wrestling?"

As for my vote, I Give Soul Calibur +1, Ready2Rumble -1 and backyard wrestling -1.
