At the very end of last gen, when I saw what the Xbox 360 was offering, I said to myself ,"this is it." The 360's games didn't look much better than Gamecube/Xbox games. If it weren't for the upcoming Wii.......

Good thing the PS3 came along and saved gaming.

Man...Heavenly Sword!

I <3 Nariko!! ... errrr... Heavenly Sword is a fantastic game! =)

I've actually never done much gaming until I got Star Wars Battlefront (The first and second) for my PS2. Before that, I just played Ratchet and Clank, Splashdown: Rides Gone Wild, and a few others on occasion. But once I got those, I've played a ton... I haven't taken much of a break since then, either.

I think there was a time when that happen but then I got the PS2.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Pretty much inbetween GTA3 & GTA4 :D

And now again until Duke Forever comes out

I dont game much, but for GTA/Duke Games, I go nuts

Yeah, late 2003 until late 2007. I didn't play that much, very little actually. Every odd month I'd say, not to say I didn't play my share of good game on PS2 and some on Xbox, but I did miss a few I'd still like to play but now I'm caught up in this gen and it's the same thing all over again that happened to me with the PS1 games I never played.

I had an auto accident 4 or 5 years ago while I was driving home from work and broke my wrist. I was in a thumb spike cast for over a year and a half, the damnd thing refused to heal. So I pretty much gave up everything envolving gaming for over a year.

That entire accident changed my life in a lot of ways, I use my left hand just as well as I do my right one now. And I have a huge ass scar that will never go away from the surgery I ended up getting. Not a cool experience at all.

Summer before I started High School, I thought I would be bombarded with extra ciricular activities and homework, not giving me time to game anymore. So that summer, I gamed my heart out anticipating the upcoming lack of gaming.
Imagine how pleasently surprised I was to find out that High School has LESS homework. :D

I skipped the whole 6th gen. I played a few PS2 games my friend had but thats it.

I got back into it with Wii and finally decided to get a PS2 at the $100 price drop. Now I can buy good PS2 games for$5-$15 :D

Well 2007 was a bad year. I only had a PS3 (got 360 and wii in 08) and I barely had any games. The only things that kept me going were Oblivion and Resistance. I was really tempted to sell it for a 360.

I toughed it out, and now my patience has paid off. At first you could count the number of "A" games on one hand, now theres almost 100 "A" quality games on PS3.

I kinda did stop gaming, never got a PS2/GC/XBox and didn't pickup my GBA for probably 3-4 years in the early 2000s. Got back into gaming with the Wii and then DS/i, gonna purchase a PS2 this summer and I plan to pick up a 360 when I can get one with a HDD for $200

I never stopped PC gameing though :)

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

Yeah, I took a year break after I found out they officially werent making any MechWarrior games anymore. It broke my heart.
