Was there ever a time when you almost stopped gaming?

I skipped the whole 6th gen. I played a few PS2 games my friend had but thats it.

I got back into it with Wii and finally decided to get a PS2 at the $100 price drop. Now I can buy good PS2 games for$5-$15 :D
