Pretty much confirmed Lionhead will announce a new IP.

The tweet has been removed so quickly.

Didn't Rare proclaim "No more franchise entries for a while?" I think that would preclude Killer Instinct 3

Though that could just be someone talking out his/her ass.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

What about that new Fire Emblem title? Nintendo could at least show it in a montage :P

I will agree that Retro and NST have both been quiet for a while and I would like to see something from either of them or both of them really.. We really should see SOMETHING from NST they haven't released a game since back in 2006 so 2.5 years ago..

About a new Mario title.. I did find it possible that the next Mario title could indeed come before Zelda and I mean the engine is already in place for a follow up to Galaxy but I just can't see one coming this year.. It'd be too soon I think in terms of the consumers being ready for another main installment Mario title. Next year maybe along with Paper Mario and Zelda would be pretty epic!

They should show Spirit Tracks and a new DSi title (it'll be Nintendogs 2 for sure) and they'll show Pikmin 3 and a new casual game (It'll be Wii Fit Plus for sure) They'll also show us how far Wii Sports Resort has progressed and reveal 5 - 7 new sports to go with the 3 we already know about. They'll show third party exclusives such as Red Steel 2 and Rabbids Go Home and maybe Grand Slam Tennis (kinda doubting they'll show GST now)

Any new titles we see will most likely come from Retro, NST, Camelot, Hudson Soft or Monolith Soft outside EAD. So we could see Raven Blade, 1080, Golden Sun, Mario Party or a new RPG. OR we could see none of them :P

Factor 5's new project should also be shown and it could be a game similar to PilotWings if it isn't actually PilotWings.

What I'd love to see on the casual side if Wii Fit Plus isn't real is this:

Wii Create - A Mario Paint spiritual sequel that takes full advantage of the DSi's capabilities and Wii peripherals such as Wii Speak. You can create music, pictures, movies, small games, and it would be much cooler than Wii Music ever was :P

So my predictions

1. Reggie will talk about how well Wii and DS are selling
2. Iwata will talk about the challenges of keeping new entertainment fresh and how Nintendo will show a short glimpse into how they will do so during the conference.
3. Miyamoto will wow fans with his surprise debut to the sequel of the beloved Wii Fit title.
4. Pikmin 3 will be revealed, Nintendo will focus heavily on the Co-op play
5. Spirit Tracks will be shown with a new trailer that explains the train mechanic a little more
6. Nintendo will show off Red Steel 2 and Rabbids Go Home
7. Nintendo will fully unveil Wii Sports Resort
8. Nintendo will show Sin & Punishment 2, Factor 5's new title, an NST title, Mario Party 9 and Fire Emblem
9. DSi will get Mario & Luigi RPG 3 release date an Nintendogs 2 announcement (or at least a brand new title built from the ground up for DSi)

10. Nintendo will drop a bomb at the end and show a Legend of Zelda Wii trailer that will cause people to literally shit themselves.. No date will be mentioned but a few details such as 'MotionPlus-enabled' and 'completely new direction for the series' will be mentioned by Reggie or someone else important.

That's what will happen

Also I should mention that I've never been right about a Nintendo conference before and last year the only thing I predicted was a showing of Wii Music and Animal Crossing which were fairly obvious ones..

This year the only obvious ones are Wii Sports Resort and Pikmin 3.. So everything else I'm seriously just pulling out of nowhere

I've heard rumors of "trouble" from NST, the implication being that their work isn't up to par, or they just aren't doing any work

The whole studio could be quietly dissolved into the greater mass of Nintendo development, or something, because it has been way too long (over 3 years now), since Metroid Prime Hunters, their last game. Unless they were tied up for a while with Project HAMMER before it got cancelled.

I mean, Monolith took forever on Disaster, but came out just fine, so we don't know about that.

@ Mr Khan: I'd like to hear sources for those rumors, that'd be really interesting if true. If we don't see anything from them this year E3 or the October conference then I'll be worried about them but until then.. I'll assume they're hard at work!

hopefully a lot of the ps3 e3 predictions are true like price lowered and some more info on games like gow3 and MAG

Now playing: Gta4(ps3)I live in hope that one day cross game voice chat will come to the ps3

I'm just hoping everyone has a decent E3 because last year sucked.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

Bumping this up to see who won.

I... I think it might have actually been me.

Maybe.

I think I won. What's funny is I actually got a Sony prediction right but confused it for a MS prediction. I called the Final Fantasy MMO.
