All I'm saying is that 360 owners either find games fun for a lot less time, or they buy games without getting the full enjoyment out of each one. I'd had a 360 since September of 2007. I've only bought 9 games (I think), and I still have plenty of fun with my 360. That's less than a game every 2 months. Whereas some people have like...100 games and barely play any of them. Maybe this is common with other systems as well and I just can't see it because they don't have similar achievement systems (trophies were just implemented too).

Yeah, but not everyone owns a PSP, DS, PS3, Wii, and 360....

How many games have you really purchased if we add all those up?

30 games in 12 months?

How does that really compare to 360 users who've had a console for three years and own 100 games?

30 games in 12 months? Still not even close. Besides, a lot of 360 games have more replayability than games on other consoles due to Xbox Live.

@Montana, If this information was available on other platforms you may find the same trend for the PS3 as well. Since we don't have that info it really can't be proved either way until theres comparable data from the little sister userbase.

Tease.

30 games in 12 months = 90 games in 3 years

Canada in the title I had to come in.

Most the people I know with the console do not chip or mod it in anyway so they can play Halo 3 on live. It's insane how in Canada it's liek 360 was not even defeated by Wii.

out of 1000 people living in canada...

The problem with rental numbers is that the most people rent the game and then copy it. I dont know a single person who would rent a game just for playing it. Atleast here where I live the Xbox360 owners (I mean ALL of them) have only copied games. They rent it and copy them. If someone prefers a Xbox360 over the PS3 that is only due to the non existing costs for it. I have spend this year 500 For Games thats more then all WII/360 Owner I know spend for their games in total.

Walk into any blockbuster in Canada and you can see why the 360 has higher rentals. The 360 has more games available to rent. The Wii and PS3 games they have on their shelves are mostly shovelware and launch games. It's as if the guys picking what games to purchase favour the 360 at Blockbuster.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

Still not even close. I've bought nowhere near 90 games in the last 3 years. And I don't see you'd need that many games no matter how many systems you own.
