Highest priced controller ever? It should really be given away for free just like the Wii-mote condoms. I feel sorry for the people that already own 4 wii-mote/nunchucks and have to buy extra WM+ for all of them if they have a WM+ party game or something.

£25 = $37.50 @ £1=$1.50

£25 - 15% VAT = £21.80 or $32

yea, I redid my calculations using 15% VAT as I just looked it up. It used to be 17.5% and I knew the average in europe was ~20%.

So that is the equivilent of seeing a $31.77 price tag in the US, or 11.78 over the price of the US counterpart not including any taxes.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Hardware doesn't drop like software here. Wiimotes, nunchucks, wheels, all the same price as they were at launch. Going by Nintendos history with these sorts of things from past gens they will not ever drop.

I'm not saying Nintendo will drop the price, but retailers. I believe retailers sell the Wii under retail prices by a bit.
