Forums - Gaming - Crysis vs Real Life photos... Can you decide which ones are Crysis???

The whole thing is pretty much a trap. All the pictures were lowered in size (and quality, especially for the real life ones) to make Crysis look better than it actually is.

One thing I know for sure is that, Crysis looks no where as good as those tiny pictures do.

It's because you don't have a PC powerful enough to handle the amazingness

Crysis utilizes the most powerful engine ever built to a game. Change the console variables and it'll do anything you want.

The game looks amazing no doubt, but those pictures are almost photorealism. As good as it looks, Crysis is not.

These are just made with the cry engine, but not in-game Crysis screenshots.

Well they look photorealistic if scaled down enough to take down the game pixelated look. "e_terrain_lod_ratio" below 1 work wonders.

I hope this helps to show you that Cry Engine is god. Bigger images. Right click images. View image to see the whole image. This is why I scaled them down. Just accept CryEngine for PC is capable of near real life imagary. My PC cant do this. But my mates SLI tech quad core can. :)

These never get old.

Even though I can pick out Crisis from everyone of them (partly because Im so familiar with it's style of grafix and details) the comparison shots are so amazing. And I havent seen half of these before.

Eye candy.

I remember all the way back in the 90's when true 3D grafix (and dedicated GPUs) first came with games like Quake and Tomb Raider, and since then Ive been dreaming of the day when lifelike grafix (or Pixarlike grafix) would be real on comps/consoles.

Crisis is so close to that dream.

Fake

Then all the Crysis shots are on the right.

4 ≈ One

All of them are right. It's so obvious... Those tiny pics also work in favor of crysis.

Never the less great graphics, but could care less.

The easiest one to spot is the 3rd one. Just because I know that it wouldn't say Coca Cola in a game due to copyright issues.
