If they brought back backward compatibility (for all the whiners) and a $50 price cut to $350 that would be great. That or no BC and drop to $300 which would be amazing.
Great games late 09 early 10 will help too.
Maybe they should change the pricing of their games... Wasn't it the ps2 that set new games at 50 dollars when nintendo was charging something a little more? Who knows :o, maybe 50 dollars a game instead of 60 would show a increase of sales.

its going to be awhile till they put B/C in it again U can get a referbished 80g or 60g with the B/C for 450$ and 430$ at gamestop or EB games if u want one now they even have 4 usbs and memory card readers fetures than may never show up again

I totally agree but i believe it has more to do with the reason that when they launched at that price point of $500 and $600 and with a loss of over $250, they were not having many options.
People didn't buy, they had to reduce the price much earlier in the lifecycle of the console. Their past policies of not buying exclusives also costed them, and i think advertising much for the $500 console wasn't going to have any tangible advantage or improving the balance sheet. It was only going to increase their losses.
But once the price comes down to $300 and they stop bleeding money, then advertisement is going to give them sales and better ROI. and they will have more options to spend their extra cash.
Agreed with your points! Sony has finally in a position where they have games that can showcase what their system is about! a price drop+Some of their big titles will actually sway things into their favor.

Well they better get off there asses than. The advertizing for KZ2 sucked. The commercials were good just not enough. What makes the OP think that there going to NOW start a big push. When it should have kicked off with KZ2.
