Forums - Nintendo Discussion - The Official Little King's Story thread of pure joy and awesome

I'd wait. If they don't announce anything at E3, then just go with the Asian version, which has full English voice acting and text.

And keep in mind, the game is incredibly hard, so it's not going to be everybody's cup of tea.

And I also didn't think it would be this good.  When it was first announced, I was like... RPG?  From From Software?  Enchanted Arms?  Meh.

Then I saw the TGS footage, and that made it look even worse.  In the demo, the main character was clipping through things left and right.  He walked straight through a rather larger wagon wheel at one point.  It was laughable.

And then the game came out which lead to nice reviews from Dengeki and excellent word of mouth from Japanese players and importers on neogaf.  That's around when I had a big reversal in opinion and became totally stoked about the game.  The Soul Network sounded cool, the combat system looked right up my alley, and I loved the whole medievil feel of the game.

Edit:

By the way, I hated Oblivion.

exactly my feelings when I heard from software is developing this. enchanted arms is laughably bad. and then I saw the tgs videos...not a good way to show a new game.

I wanted to know what gamers think. now I am surprised and I really hope Sony will bring it over.

This game needs advertising cos if you dont read the internet you're not gonna know this game exists.

It ain't going to get no stinkin' advertising. Its publishers are small, niche companies (X-SEED and Rising Star), and they simply lack the resources to do any push to speak of. Shoot, the game's already been out for almost a week, and the official site still says "Coming Soon"!

I have a question but I don't want to spoiler anything. how can I spoilertag my words?

Contrary to what I said there, you can also start by using Rich Text Reply.

Sounds like we need another "Buy _____!" campaign.  :P

We've done 'em for Zack & Wiki, No More Heroes, and (kinda) Valkyria Chronicles.

I'm feeling sorry for all the millions of people who won't get the chance to play this awesome game.

Nintendo have the best advertising outlet in the Wii's channel system - they should seriously open this to third parties and have a showcase reel channel and an online review / preview / news section hosted by IGN or Nintendo Power where video reviews and previews are available.
