This is pretty big, since Skype functionality in the PSP pushed its sales to massive heights. Would likely make more DS owners trade up to a DSi

Not only that, but the camera could be used as a webcam. That's something that the PSP lacks.

Is there not one that fixes to the top of the PSP?

Around the Network

Really sucks that this was confirmed false. I so would have bought skype for my DS. Free calls to other DS users. It is like being on the tmobile family plan with 100 million other users.

It is nice to hear that there is a possibility of something like this coming out from someone else but I bet they would charge money for the service and that would just suck.

When I first got the DS. I kind of enjoyed the idea of the DS becoming a palm pilot game system.

95% of gamers don't know they are noobs, the 5% who do won't be noobs for long

^^^ While there is no plan yet, it isnt impossible for Skype to come to the DS too. As of right now, its one of the big advantages the PSP has over the DS. Once DSi sales drop, I could see Nintendo allowing a Skype app to boost sales. When Skype was added to the PSP, the market errupted in favor of the PSP.
