Motion controls is the only reason why I spent money on any console this time around....

Aw that is so sad :P

OT: well this is obvious, we didn’t need anybody to tell us where they where going. Everybody fallows what is successful unless you disrupt the market by creating something that works better.

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Why would they get into Motion Controls? Wouldn't motion controls turn their systems into "toys"? Wouldn't motion controls make their systems "gimicky"?

No, you must be wrong sir darthdevidem01, you must be wrong.

I hope everyone involved with motion control don't go to far with it. While I do enjoy playing the Wii on occasion, I don't want that form of control to become the only way to play.

I would rather play certain types of games with a good ole regular controller.

Talk about irony...

I am a Pakistani.....my name is Dan....how hard is that? (Don't ask about the 101...apparantely there are more of me out there....)

honestly, i think very few games actually benefit from such controls. the wiimote is designed quite poorly as well, so a direct copy would be an awful thing to do anyways.

then its a win-win because apart from the games that are done with motion, and potentiall racing games, every game is 1000x better to play on pc ;)

Check out my pyro tf2 vid :)

Bet With routsounmanman: By the end of Q1 2008 Capcom WONT have announced a RE5 Wii Edition OR a new RE (classic gameplay) for the Wii (WON)

Motion is a good tool but so is regular controller. Nintendo generally allows many, many ways to play their games. GC controllers, The New Classic Controller, and the Wii-mote.

Classic game controls will never vanish. BUT we shouldn't be afraid of new technology.

Please no. I dont think that would be a very popular move. If Sony did that i wouldnt be getting there console.
