Forums - Sales - Could The Conduit Be in for a Rough Ride at Retail?

AARGH!

Madworld is selling incredibly considering previous titles by the developer
HOTD:Overkill shall certainly make a profit and most likely sell a million
No More heroes is Suda 51's best selling game, and they threw a party to celebrate its sales

1-2 million for conduit? hahahahaha. It wouldn't even do 1-2 million on the 360.

You're right, it wouldn't do 1-2 million on 360.

That's because its only selling points are:

-it's a Wii exlusive FPS
-it actually looks like it cost more than a bag of peanuts and some pocket lint to make
-apparently, it doesn't suck

Put it on 360 and it's got nothing going for it.

I find it interesting that there's this argument of most "core" Wii owners own a PS3 or XB360, when combined they have sold less than half the amount the Wii has. Blue Ocean or not, I find it hard to believe that the casual audience on the Wii is near the same size as the core Nintendo audience.

Besides, a lot of us are smart enough to know that the perfect compliment to a Wii is a PC. =)

Motion controls was what I thought was its biggest selling feature!  :)

I could spend a couple hours ripping this apart but I really don't feel like it anymore.

Anti-Wii Week is coming to an end, so I guess this will be one of the last articles to trickle out, but boy is it ignorant.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

I didn't realise that 51.4 million is less than half of 48.8 million...

^^^ Its close enough to call it, as we both know this will likely happen before the year's end. You're ignoring my main point.

Bardic - How much marketshare has the Wii gained on the PS3/X360 since the beginning of the year?

AFAIK, the Wii was supposed to breach the 50.0% mark at Christmas. It got re-adjusted, and it's now quite a ways off.

I personally don't have a lot of hope for the Conduit on the Wii. Not because I want it to fail, but because Wii gamers have poor taste in general (as do their DS compatriots). Nintendo really puts something in their kool-aid to make them have very strange buying habits.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Where is all the wii hate coming from all of a sudden... ?

Hate? What Hate?
