Are they expensive? Last week I was at a friend's house having a blast on Soul Calibur IV online, and in the middle of the action the controller slipped from my hands (the headset was connected to it and I got wrapped in the cable, and the controller fell of).
He said: "Be careful dude!!! One of those costs 50€"
I was like: "WTF? 50€???"
Is that fair? 50 bucks for a controller that is almost the same as Xbox original? I mean even the wiimote with all the technology inside it costs 40€ why should an old school controller for the 360 be so expensive?
Same for the PS3 pad. I don't know the retail price for it but it should be something around 50€/$.
Recently I was pissed of to know that Wii Motion PLus attachment will cost 20€. WTF??? I have to pay more 20€ for a piece of plastic that does what the wiimote was intended to do in the very beginning. Even 10€ wouldn't be a fair price!!!!
Are we being explored? Companies have losses on their consoles (well except Nintendo...) and they try to compensate it selling controllers at an insane price?
