The Sony camera trounces it...

Of course it does... 10 MPixel is almost 40X the resolution.... if you want to take professional pictures that you are going to be blowing up then you wan't more than a DSi... but the quality of the DSi photos despite being only 0.3MP is excellent.

I have a Sony Ericsson phone with a VGA (0.3MP) camera which is supposedly the same resolution as the DSi... but it is absolutely terrible even on the tiny phone screen.
