ocarina of time was my first zelda, i didn't even know zelda existed before that game, i was anticipating turok 2 instead of ocarina of time, turok 2 and OoT came out around same time i bought turok 2 instead, i beat turok 2 in a week, i traded turok 2 for OoT.

i didn't read any reviews or saw any videos of OoT before, everything was new to me, OoT blew me away when i first played it, it made me zelda fan instantly, after i beat OoT i bought a link to the past.

those days i was game-playing machine, turok 2 came out in the holidays, i had a lot of free time and turok 2 was not a long game, it had 6 huge levels, each level took me about 2 hours to beat, easily beatable in a week
