I bet VC is a better game than SoA. Now leave me alone ;) |
LOL.

Skies of Arcadia was a good game but yeah it's overrated.

I come in just to see if it's Soriku or DMJ complaining about the game...
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
FFT was so amazing I would forget it was a FF, the question is do you really remember how amazing FFT is?

This is why. Example. When it was originally released it was amazing. Like everyone else says it doesnt really excel at any one thing. I think the 3d graphics and freedom of travel helped alot to make it a fond memory for people. You have played it years after release on the Cube. In a time where graphics and Jrpg's have progressed. It's like someone who hasnt played FF6 plays it after FF9. There is every chance they will think it sucks.
Hmm... I loved SoA on my Dreamcast. I mean, of course it didn't revolutionize the genre, but how many JRPGs do that? And still, I saw a lot of stuff in Skies of Arcadia which were quite unique: the ship battles, the fact that you could build/create/decorate your own pirate island (how cool is that? :D), the whole "adventurous", sky pirate-feeling it had... charaters also were anything different than generic if you ask me, Vyse beeing almost as cool a main protagonist like Grandia II's Ryudo ;)
