Madworld was not expensive at all. I just need to point that out.

I think it's hilarious when people are saying that the companies are lying (I know you're not saying that, Zucas, but I mean the people you're satirizing). It's like "No. This game can't be profitable. They're lying. It's not true. I know better than they do.". Pure comedy gold.

EDIT: Oops, I mean SaviorX, not Zucas. Saw Leon as your avatar and just immediately thought of Zucas >_>

well the only one that i see being bad is sega. alot of expensive hardcore games. whereas take-two is making cheap party games

I doubt that Mad World or House of the Dead: Overkill really had that big of budgets.

Neither one has very sophisticated technical aspects and the art assets are relatively simple. However, like some B movie directors, they were able to make good use of what they had and made good use of stylistic effects and good voice casting to get the most bang for their buck.

These games can make money just like cult hit B movies can make money.

There's probably a bit more money in the Conduit though, so it will likely need stronger sales.

The Conduit has too much hype behind it to fail I think. It is one of few Wii must-have titles coming up in the next few months. When there is nothing available that hasn't already been purchased, what may or may not be a mediocre game turns into a stand-out title.
