This would mean...

A)  Sony is coming out with the PS4 early and getting a jump on both MS and Nintendo.

B)  Backwards compatibility with PS3 games would be all-but guaranteed.

4 ≈ One

After the initial shock, I would go out and buy all the great games that are out for the system now. That should keep me gamin for a long time.

  Tifa got MOVES!

well if they came out with a great game to pair it with, and they made it as easily hacked at the XBox was, I would consider it, that way once the new gen came out, and I had played all the good games, I could hack it and have even more fun!!!!

Past Avatar picture!!!

Don't forget your helmet there, Master Chief!

well i think sony has nearly sold as much as xbox already (that 24mil figure is shipped) at a higher price. i dont think people have much to worry about

The original Xbox didn't do bad considering it was a first attempt. It even sold more than the Nintendo console of that gen.

The PS3 has the potential of outselling the 360 in the long run thanks to the bluray. But that doesn't mean it will have been worthwhile financially for Sony.
