You guys obviously haven't seen all of Sony's ads. I live in Bay Area [San Francisco] and I have seen a lot of ads of Sony.

For instance, in the San Francisco Giants games, behind the pitcher I always see the advertisement of "MLB The Show 09, The most Realistic BaseBall game ever Only On Playstation." Also on the Scoreboard of the Giants, theres a huge Playstation sign. For the New York Yankees new stadium, there's a Playstation Room there.

Another instance is that in the San Jose Sharks games [#1 in Hockey], right now they are in the playoffs and they have a Playstation 3 advert where the players are. Also in the end of the game, they ALWAYS say "Todays Sony Playstation 3 Player of the game is..."

Have you guys even see the massive ads of Killzone 2 in Toronto? There was a lot.

Finally, if you guys go to www.mlb.com, you can see all the ads of MLB The Show 09. They also play the ad of MLB The Show 09 constantly on ESPN.

Ads don't always have to be on TV.

I don't think any of us are saying that they DON'T advertise.  What most of us are getting at when they do advertise its useually bad.  A lot of people don't like sports or never goto the games.  While I do that doesn't mean that the majority of people do. 

I honestly like what they are doing to advertising MLB The Show. I mean, compare the sales from last year to this year for that game.

What they should really do is still show some Killzone 2 ads on tv. I agree with you though that they don't advertise that well.

I'm seeing all kinds of PS3 games i commercials now, I'm not sure what ure talking about but ever since 2009 hit they been advertising like crazy.

Hmm, now that you mention it, I can't remember the last time a saw a PS3 commercial on TV...
But I see Wii and DS ones all the time. There used to be a lot of PSP commercials a while back, and I mean a LOT, it was crazy. :p But they disappeared all of a sudden. Don't really see a lot of 360 commercials, but still more than for PS3. Kinda strange too, with PS3 being in the position it is in right now...

they do have TV ads but some of them are complete just BS
