Urgh.. of course not.
Don't you think you are overreacting a little? I don't think the cartoony style really hurts it. Even if it was only made to appeal more to children. But we all know for a fact that if the Wii version would've gone for the same artistic style the HD versions have, it'd probably just be a watered down version with Wiimote Controls. But with it's own not so performance heavy style it even makes local coop possible. That's a huge + for me and probably the one thing that got me interested in this game in the first place. So it's not just the presentation, even the gameplay benefits from the new art style.
Making such a big deal about it is what I consider childish..
Actually Shaun White was better reviewed because of the balance board "gimmick" and the fact that it was arcade-style. The open world idea of the HD versions didn't work well for reviewers. In short, the Wii version was simply fun. Glad that still counts for something.

To tell you the truth, i'm not even gonna get the game. I just thought it was annoying that the Wii version was getting the childish looking version. Its like developers think all wii owners are tweens.

Thats what i said. It was because of the gimmick.
JRPG, by now you should have realized two things:
A) The character/art design in the Wii version really isn't that bad. There have been some garbage games for the Wii in terms of visuals no doubt, but this doesn't look like one of them.
B) When it comes to upcoming games that are fully multiplatform (PSWii60), Wii owners will always say the Wii version looks the best or the most fun. HD console owners are the same way. Nothing new here. You may as well go do something productive than argue it.
I will be getting the version of this game made by Terminal Reality because I love Ghostbusters, I know Terminal Reality is capable of making really fun action games, and I would like to see the results of all of Twesterm's hard work.
So I'm reading all these posts and for the first time I stop and read your sig. Not only is the joke not funny but it says a lot about your perspectives regarding the Wii overall and why you're having problems understanding the art direction of the Wii iteration of Ghost Busters.

You really nead to either start thinking or stop talking. It's that plain and simple because you're starting to go off the deep end saying things like what i highlighted above. It plainly shows that you never actually played the game. nor compared it to the hd vesrion. From the trailers we've seen the Wii version looks really good and seems to at least have that GB feeling to it whereas the HD version looks practically like a GTA4 clone. Do not, i repeat, DO NOT even dare to think that the game is bad just because You do not like the art style.
If i lose access to this profile as well....I'm done with this site.....You've been warned!!.....whoever you are...
Happy Wii60 user. Me and my family are a perfect example of where hardcore meets casual and together mutate into something awesome.

And this won't be better because of the IR controls?
Actually, Shaune White was rated better, not just sold better.

Clearly holding the wiimote like a Proton Pack gun will give no additional joy.

Yeah, i'm leaning that way soley because of Twesterm i think.
Well that and my 360 and PS3 collections lag well behind my Wii collection. Then again... the Wii version will be cheaper.
