Yeah, I read the whole thread. I do that.

I just wanted to sum things up.

I'm mad that devs are making this game look different than the other versions. It makes me think that they have the mentality that only "kiddy looking" games sell on the wii.

Perhaps you are looking at the situation backwards.  The Wii iteration is most fitting for the content and demographic.  It could therefore be concluded that the PS3/X360 versions had to be changed because the family friendly art style would not sell well on those consoles.

Note the rating difference.  Why is the PS3/X360 version rated T?  It's based on a PG movie series.  It seems more like the PS3/X360 version is the one alterd to fit a fanbase not totally fitting the movies demographic.

Most GB fans are older than me (21). This franchise is aimed at 30 somethings, not 10 year olds.

Just because you've aged, doesn't mean the target demographic itself has aged.

The Smurfs came out decades ago.  Do you think a new Smurf game would be aimed at 30+ year olds?

And now we're going to bash Wii designs, great. I don't have complains about this, and I don't see how this'll affect the game, oh yes I fell less mature playing with cartoony designs Booh. Booh.

Well why don't they cartoon up everything? How about the next Call of Duty have chibi characters and use cell shading?

The new Resident Evil looks realistic. Maybe they should they should make it look more like a kids drawing!

Do you really think this is about this one game? This is so much bigger than that. This is about the developers respecting the wii instead of putting their C team on Wii projects.

Red Fly is not a C team, they're quite good at their job.

Do you remember the Tales of Symphonia 2 game on the Wii? Well it was developed by the B or C team at namco, not Team Symphonia, The A Team (lol), so the game was decent, but nowhere as good as it could have been if the A team would have worked on it.

Most Wii games get the "Portable game division teams" AKA the C team.

That Wii picture got a laugh out of me. Wii owners talk about how they want more mature games and this game is living up to the dumb jokes people make about the console.

yes because ghostbuster is a VERY MATURE GAME on ANY of the consoles lol. Just because it has more relistic gfx doesn't make it any more mature. It is the game play that will determine the rating.

Obviously they gave the Wii version a cartoonish look so it would appeal to kids. While the HD versions will appeal to a more mature audience. End of discussion.

Bingo, and that is what pisses me off.

Why would it piss you off?

Because i'm not a 10 year old child.

Do you know what E10 means? It does not mean 10 year olds. Means Everyone 10 and above.

T means T. so 13+.  HUGE DIFFERENCE MAN.

I grew up with ghost busters, this art direction does not bother me at all.

Considering I own a PS3 and Wii I can get both versions to satisfy my GB needs.

C Team for Force Unleashed - tried to make a game like the HD versions.

C Team for Shaun White - had some independant thought and created a different game.

Looks like Ghostbusters is trying to follow the lead of the more financially and critically successful model.

But thank you for your valiant efforts to save the Wii from evil cartoony graphics. Let's start a petition for Nintendo to hire a fat guy with a mustache for character models.

Then why act like one?  I don't mean to be rude but most "mature" adults can handle family oriented assets without feeling like they're being insulted.    Family means all ages, not just 10 years old and under.

Why feel pissed or insulted if the game has more people in mind than just you?

Did anyone ever think a new Ghostbusters property would ever come out?
