Oh, he started shifting his argument while I typed that up. He went from "comedy doesn't age well, whether it's standup or film" to "I get to decide which 1980s Bill Murray comedies aged well and which didn't."

Lame.

I did not shift anything in my argument. However, I can see by your posts that you are just uneducated and are not worthy of my time. I don't need to justify anything I said to you or anyone else. I really don't give a damn that you like a crappy movie that was made for kids. The movies I picked as the ones I liked were made for adults and are infinitely better than Ghostbusters. I said it once and I will say it again, people are morons.

While you're banned, maybe you can cheer yourself up by watching Groundhog Day and Caddyshack.

caddyshack?

Don´t tell me I missed a great movie, don´t think i have seen that one.

Who´s starring in it?

I might have seen it cause over here back then they changed the name of the movies.

HIGH FIVE SUPERCHUNK!

@wrongitty wrongmcsteen,

By "most successful comedy of the 1980s" I meant "it made more money than any other comedy in the 1980s." Don't try to turn this into a semantics battle. You know what I meant, and you were wrong. The goal of big budget films is to make money. Ghostbusters succeeded at that goal harder than any other comedy in the 80's. That makes it the most successful comedy of the 1980's.

Success can be measured in many more ways than just box office sales. Plus, I said it was very successful, but once again, you cannot claim most successful for any movie. And sorry, but you are the one that is wrong, in every way. One thing any educated person would understand is that comedies do not age well. Over time comedies are just not nearly as good as they were when they were released. It would be the same if you watched a comedian from the 50s or 60s. Their comedy would not be funny anymore because comedy is usually based on what is going on in the world at the time. The bits you see from 20, 30, 40 years ago is just not funny anymore. The comedy in Ghostbusters is over 20 years old, and I'm sorry if you still like it, but for me, it is not funny at all anymore. This is especially true because as a kid I probably saw that movie a million times like everyone else at the time. Every movie or anything else gets old and stale when you have seen or played it way too many times...

Let me get this straight.

You're complaining that the Wii iteration of the video game representation of a family movie is done in a family friendly art style?  Do I have that correct?   A family movie - family friendly art style.  And you're complaining and demanding respect for the Wii of developers by suggesting they use a realistic art style on Wii of a family oriented movie.

OK, now that we have the facts, carry on.

Yeah, you did not read the whole thread. Why would you? That would be a huge waste of time.

Yeah, I read the whole thread. I do that.

I just wanted to sum things up.

That Wii picture got a laugh out of me. Wii owners talk about how they want more mature games and this game is living up to the dumb jokes people make about the console.

I'm mad that devs are making this game look different than the other versions. It makes me think that they have the mentality that only "kiddy looking" games sell on the wii.

We aruged that for a while then started talking about the cartoons and the movies, and then some kid came in and said the movie sucked an that his/her opinion was all that mattered. The thread was derailed after that.

yes because ghostbuster is a VERY MATURE GAME on ANY of the consoles lol. Just because it has more relistic gfx doesn't make it any more mature. It is the game play that will determine the rating.

honestly all you do is troll BS on the forums. I am ashamed owning a HD console knowing there are idiots like you trashing everything.  Just accept it you don't liek the Wii everyoen fucking knows. Get over it, some people will like the Wii. There is nothing wrong with the art stye of this game.

Both this version (which is more animated), and the HD versions have their pros and cons.
