Hmm I don't consider myself as a fanboy but if someone consider I am please add me to the list then (and PM why I am).

As PS3 fanboy or X360 fanboy?

Strange tho that the Wii list have almost every game and games that will not release this year. And the X360/PS3 list missing games.

So that is a fanboy comment of me?

Budget titles are quick to come out... Some of those games listed were just started this year, some just a few months ago, while almost all 360/PS3 games usually require at least a year but usually longer to come out and appear to be more prone to delay because of the amount of time and effort involved with them.

konnichiwa, I'd like to invite you to nominate yourself for the fanboy elimination game. The list of people is shrinking, we need some new blood.

I nominate myself...  so there ya go...

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

I nominate myself =P now should we get this thread back on track or what?

Wow, the PS3 only has one 3rd party exclusive game (Time Crisis 4) in this huge 07 holiday season. Were any of the recently released games (Lair, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword) 3rd party exclusive games?

Does the lack of 3rd party exclusive games indicate major problems in the future for the PS3?

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai

It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps

We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

looks like good games coming out for all 3 consoles.

Mostly at Leo and konnichiwa

I did not pick and choose which games to add, so relax a bit, they are all straight from IGN.

Leo, you mentioned that I missed:

Hot shots Golf -- IGN says TBA 2008, Amazon not listed, pre-release 10/1 on ebgames, wikipedia nothin' = does not go on list
Interstellar Marines -- IGN also TBA 2008, Amazon not listed, pre-release 10/1 ebgames (PC version 1/1/08), wikipedia TBA = does not go on list
Monster Kingdom "Folklore" RENAMED and already listed
Conan is already on my lists,
5th Phantom saga -- TBA 2008, Amazon not listed, 11/1 prerelease ebgames, wiki nothing = does not go on list
The outsiders -- IGN TBA date as well as publisher, amazon nothing, 11/1 ebgames (pc 1/1), ps3 tba 08 and 360 tba 07, wiki nothing = does not go on list
The getaway -- IGN TBA 2008, amazon not listed, 11/1 prerelease ebgames, wiki 2008 = not on list
College Hoops 2k8 is already on mylists I have "'08" for PS3 by typo
History Channel Battle for the Pacific also already in lists "Battle for the Pacific"

Out of 9 games, I already had 4 on my lists and the other 5 have no sources stating legitimate dates. Ebgames is notorious for using placeholders. C'mon man, face it, PS3 has a horrible line up this year.

So, I don't see how the list is inaccurate. I have only needed to add four changes so far, two of which based on rumors to appease others. (Eternal Sonata[rumor ps3], Dirt, Heavenly Sword, beautiful katamari[rumor ps3 and wii])

I said "I don't care" to non-exclusive titles that were brought up because all in all these don't sell systems.
Exclusives sell systems and that is where I was focusing my thoughts on.

All in all this is a great reprensentation of the game libraries of all three. Wii is getting a mix of everything just like every other generational leader. I fully expect that in 2008 and afterward that list is just going to get bigger as the older develpment games started prior to wii/ps3 launches have been delivered and most new stuff is wii focused.

Really, all gamers have a lot to choose from based on this list. I just prefer "kitty luv" better :)

Also, someone noted Luxor for wii as compared to 360 xbox live game, difference is this is an actual disc game. I was not counting any online delivered content. As that too has already been proven to be much in Wii's favor. Wii has been out half the time of 360 and has what, twice the content in the VC.

It is an insane list. Just as well a bunch of stuff got moved to next year!

And btw, I would consider this a 1st/2nd party Ninty title:
Mario & Sonic at Olympics

I actually thought the 360 list was a little stronger - its mainly Mass Effect that draws me in. Halo is huge for most people.

I think the 360 > PS3, but not by much. Will depend on what sort of games you are into. Halo + Mass Effect > R&C + HS + Uncharted (a lot for Sony may depend on Uncharted being awesome)

Still a lot more Wii titles that I want, than I will be able to buy. I count 23 Wii titles I *could* buy if I had the money + time to play them (and around 13 "will buy" titles).

And this doesn't count VC titles - including the soon to hit NeoGeo titles... hmmm..

Yeah, I wasn't sure about the mario and sonic game. But, either way it's still counted as exclusive.

360 list is nice, but I was thinking in terms of overall selection. Wii has the most diverse portfolio, its has mature, casual, and kiddie games. This should ensure it outsells all other through the holidays.

As for my personal tastes, there are 5 wii, 2 360, and 0 ps3 games I would like to have. I will get the Wii games for myself. The 360 games for my brothers and just have them stay a weekend at my house. So, I am happy.

 Second/third job, maybe?
