The reason why your philosophy fails? The majority of people out there are not like us on the forums. PC/360 exclusives dont hurt 360 sales. Discluding them is the reason why it seems ilogical that the 360 wins in sales. The mainstream consumer wants a new system to play games on. At home they have a modest Vista media PC. They dont want to be playin hours of RPGs for example on the PC otherwise mum and kids cant use the internet. You only have to look at the sales of the games on PC and 360 to know that the to markets exist side by side, not competetively.

For a start you missed Forza 2 ( over 4 million sales )

But games like Mass Effect and Bioshock Timed exclusive helped sell 360 very well.

If by big exclusive you mean sales. Then the PS3 has certainly not got 15. I would say big exclusives have been MGS4, Uncharted and a few other games that got between 800,000 - 2 million sales.

Taking the 360 exclusives that sold the same sort of figures,  you can really add the following:

BK N&B

Crackdown

Halo 3

Gears 1 & 2

PGR 3 & 4

Forza 2

Ninja Gaiden 2

Lost Odyssey

And I'm sure there are other exclusives on 360 that sold in the same region of the 15 PS3 exclusives you are considering big.

Problem is a few of those upcoming ps3 rpg are ethier already out on 360 or gonna come out according to both list.....

I agree with the commonality.  But why should it be such a problem when some of this same "problem" also applies to Neoraf's list while some of those later releases can be the bettter version fo the two?  ;)

Because in Neoraf list's case in contrast  to Jordahn's list (meaning 360 vs ps3) the games that are in common are either not out for both systems or already on 360 .Meaning PS3 is getting an increase due to port of games found on it's opposing console. Thus bringing this down to exclusive content ,something sony exec's bash MS for pursuing but  state that exclusive content is the reason to sell their system

In which he provided a nice quantity of games while the PS3 also prove and will prove that there are some fine RPG choices on its system.  Both systems have their share of exclusives whle both also have their share of better multi-platform titles either currently or to come.  Nothing wrong with that.

The better multi-platform titles sell much more on X360 than PS3. Ok the odd few multi-platform games sell more on PS3 than X360. 9 times out of 10 the X360 multi-platform title sell more than PS3 version.

So Japanese themed multi-platform titles sell more in Japan which help the PS3 game sales significantly. However the majority, Western styled games sell a lot more on X360 than PS3.

I refer to big exclusive game as those games which were significantly hyped by Sony or Microsoft to try and push sales of PS3 or X360. The X360 has only around 3 hyped exclusive games Halo 3, Gears of War 2 and Fable 2. PS3 has a longer list of hyped exclusive games:UnCharted, Ratchet and Clank:Tools of Destruction, Lair, Haze, Folklore, Heavenly Sword, MGS 4, GT 5: Prologue, Little Big Planet, Kill Zone 2, Motor Storm, Motorostorm: Pacific Rift, Resistance 2, Valkyrie Chronicles, Resistance: Fall of Man. Basically all PS3 exclusive are big hyped games.
