Isn't claiming that your product is the best, better than the competition's what pretty much ALL companies do? It's called marketing! -_-' Seriously people... This is sad.

Let's put it this way, I choose Windows/Linux for the same reason I drive Manual and choose PC gaming over console. I have far more options and control over the experience than with the alternative. Is it harder to get a hold of? Yes. Is it ridiculously more enjoyable? Fuck yeah.

The manual vs automatic is esp like mac vs pc. You pay more for less options and fun....

Automatic is easier even though they pay more, they find it worth their money. Not everyone's you and you have your opinions on what you like... But what you like isn't necessarily what's best and value is subjective. You need to accept the fact that there are people who like macs, because it does what they want of it. Doesn't make of them fanboys or deluded people. I know Window's advantage over Macs but those advantages don't apply to me just like the advantages of a manual car doesn't apply to some people.

Then let's start seeing less "We have advanced software" and more "we are easier to use." Their whole image is utterly false. They have nothing better than looks and ease of use, and a glowing apple. All of which you pay more for. I'm more pissed at Apple's image and product price than anything. Also anyone who is stupid enough to actually tell me Macs' software has more functionality and use than a non-Apple box, which happens all over the place. You pay extra for ease of use, that's it, nothing more. When it gets beaten into people's thick skulls then I won't care as much.

Less functionality for more money? How is that not useless? And no Apple is not shit because people say it's better. It's because its tactics bring it to the level of shit. Have you not heard of how they arbitrarily block iPhone apps jsut becaause they might compete with some product down the line? Other people have nothing to do with those opinions, and they aren't opiinons, they are facts. You can measure a machine's functionality and you can see jsut how retarded business practices are. Thank god they god sued over in europe for their DRM on the iTunes. That made my entire month when it happened.

And yes, I just said more people are switching to Linux. We have 3 labs in the school for macs, both have to do with the graphic designer heavy Computational Media and Architecture majors. We have countless more running windows/linux or outright linux.

I want you to proove to me that a Mac has more functionality than a Windows/Linux box and that Apple's practices as a company aren't some of the drities seen on the planet. Until then lay off the personal attacks because you really don't want me to go there as well.

It's painfully obvious to anyone with half a brain that you have a severe and deeply grounded grudge against anything remotely to do with Apple. I have learned that such extremely biased people are best left alone, since talking to them is not going to accomplish anything at all because of the way their mind is set. Anything and everything I or anyone else might say that opposes your opinion is obviously going to get thoroughly ignored, so I'm not gonna get into another endless argument here, I've had plenty of that in the past thank you very much.

If you like something that's fine, just don't bash others who might not agree with you. I'll leave it at that. I will.

Yet again you fail to present any argument against the functionality/cost of the Mac, or present any defense towards some of their business practices. I listen to reason, and I've had this argument with many a people, I just want to see what your arguments would be. I'm only biased based on the facts.
