FFCC: The Crystal Bearers - Japanese site open, new screens/art

April 17th, 2009

The official Japanese website for FFCC: The Crystal Bearers is open. There’s a few bits of Japanese to read, but the real goodies are the new screens and character art we get to check out. I’ve ripped all the new screens and posted them to our Flickr account. After you’re done looking at them, make sure to check out the official site!

lol kind of looks like Ganon.

layle is a horrible name, who would name someone layle, althea looks bad and the other 2 look average, it will all resume to their personalities though. the site is really nice, playing those small videos whenever you change page and the name layle sucks which we could change the name.

@damkira

lol so true

I really, really like where this game is going.

Zelda-Final Fantasy crossover with some WRPG influence that does incorporate pointer controls: if done well it could well be one of the best games of this generation.

Yes, and we all know the last time Square made a Zelda clone; it created Secret of Mana. One of the best games ever.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

Where is the Mana series these days?

Handhelds =(; not that it's a bad thing but I'd of liked to see what the imagination of the devs would of brought it to be.

Now I'm even more convinced that this game is The Legend of Final Fantasy
They even got a Ganon figure!

Add me for Pokemon, New Leaf, and Fire Emblem, Mario Kart 8.

I loved the offline multiplayer - That's gone

I love magic - That's gone

I've hated Yukes appearance - They're gone

Well I don't know why I'm even wondering how this game will turn out.

No magic games are kind of getting annoying, first Monster Hunter (never had magic) then PSU messed up the magic system, and now this game doesn't have it at all.

The only game to get magic right from my perspective would be Ragnarok Online. V_V

I really like how this game is looking. Seems to have a futuristic Zelda twist injected.
