What was not wrong with FF12?

- The representation and perfection of the Final Fantasy universe (races, weapons, magicks, etc. name them);
- The refined battle system (finally, thank god);
- The music (especially);
- The Gambits (yes, I said it. Finally, I don't have to give the same commands that I would give over and over again ANYWAYS);
- etc.

Sure, the story was average, but when gameplay makes up for the story, then I'm all for it! =P

I guess thats your opinion.

To be honest, I'd like to hear yours. I betcha you're one of those people that can't enjoy a game for what it is and not what it should have been, eh? =P

I'm just wondering.

I tried to except FF12 for what it is (i do that for every game i play) but it just was not fun at all to me. And the story and characters were boring as hell.

Final Fantasy XII was awesome. Well... at least the Steelbook EB Games Exclusive Edition case was awesome. It's too sexy to open. Therefor, I will never play XII, unless I buy a regular copy new/used.

It's understandable. It's just not your cup of tea.

I still believe it was an excellent step for the series, gameplay wise that is. Story wise, I can't disagree that it could be checked (but what can you expect coming from a medieval era? Hehe!).

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Haha! At least the style is "animated," which makes it comical and fun in the first place. I'm a sucker for anything "anime-like," be it sci-fi or medieval. ^^

Excellent choice for #1!

My list would go as follows!

1. Final Fantasy IX
2. Final Fantasy X
3. Final Fantasy XII
4. Final Fantasy XI
5. Final Fantasy VII
6. Final Fantasy VIII

Keep in mind I love all of these games.

What I particularly enjoyed about XII was the gambit/battle system.
I've always been annoyed by those random battle popups and the victory music/ post battle screens following the death of the lowliest of critters.
Give me XII any day (I'm currently playing it again)

I just can't make up my mind, enjoyed 7,8,9 en 10 almost equally while being a little dissapointed about the story in XII.
Haven't played enough of XI to haven an opinion

But on the list made: to say a game makes it easily 4th spot out of 6 is sarcasm???

Laughable at best... FF XII above X is blasphemy, and FF IX as the best one is even more blasphemy.
