There is what an 8 million sales lead in America? So a game that has HALO in its name sells 300K more in a territory with 8 million more consoles sold......that's just devastating. Sony had better just throw in the towel. RTS or not, its a Halo game. People will buy it because of the setting alone. America is the 360s saving grace. Without our blind spending practices, the 360 would be doing horribly considering its launch lead.

 Looking at your VGChartz money it's not hard to figure out you're hardly the most trustworthy source for data analysis.

I have a little challenge if you want to accept it.  Find me the biggest selling RTS on the PS2 (a console with considerably more userbase than the 360), I'd be interested to know how this compares sales wise right now and of course in the future.  A RTS game selling this fast is impressive, just give it some credit and stop being bitter.

Isnt KZ2 at 1.4m, without Japan? And Halo Wars at 1m? MS must be hurting.

I prefer worldwide sales. Worldwide sales are the true meaning of how a games sales through diverse cultures and not confined to 1 region.

KZ 2> Halo Wars Worldwide

RE5 PS3> RE5360 Worldwide

Not that surprising. Killzone is not a huge brand while Halo is one of the largest. Killzone 2 sold off of hype/marketing and "timing" for the PS3 userbase. While Halo Wars sold off of mainstream and core brand appeal. It's not hard to see what will sell better.

So by that defintion the Japan lead the PS3 has over 360 is rubbish when taken into context the worldwide lead.  Also lets add the fact that KZ2 was released before HW so lets align launches

Is cherry picking a profession or just a hobby for you?

Also NPD doesn't cover worldwide so the figures you're quoting off VGChartz have no relevance to the OP as they specifically state NPD hence US sales.

And if you take away Xbox 360 American sales then what does it have left? That is the counter-argument to your saying of Japan is saving the PS3.

Yea I can admit the PS3 is last in American sales console and games wise? But does not stop me from enjoying the console and its games.

Tell me this. Does the 360 suck bad because it comes last in Japan? Your answer: Heck, no. Thats the whole point.
